- What's new in the life of Euge...well, I recorded an acoustic version of "Discolored" recently on my Windows Sound Recorder! Hey, it works, shows how much $ home recording on a basically free program can save you. Pretty good quality too, once you convert them to MP3's. Yeah, so I haven't really been writing songs lately, trying to work on my guitar skills for the time being. And today, I recorded my most recent song, "First to Fly". Changed quite a few of the lyrics to fit in with the guitar and phrasing, which turned out pretty good. Still working on my vocals...more POWER! Gotta get that coarse, wimpy voice outta my system! You know, by singing to some P.O.D., Linkin Park, all that heavy stuff. I think it works too. Alright, I'll try to get the completed versions of "Discolored" and "First to Fly" on this page ASAP, so hold on to your...mouse buttons...did that make any sense at all? Hope so.

- Wait, there's more??? Yes! If any of my friends remember from Freshman and Sophomore year I started on a "little" project called The Chosen, which was supposed to be put into animation in an actual cartoon series. But now that I think about it, what were the chances of such a thing happening from a 14/15-year old who couldn't draw "the greatest". Anyways, this series was basically set in the future where a few humans (no, it's unlikely aliens will play such huge roles in society judging from the pace we're at right now) discover that physical boundaries and limits can be exceeded through the teachings of a mysterious shadow of the "past". So, I've actually turned this into an actual book I'm working on. If you haven't seen already, the first 3 chapters were previously written, but they just didn't tell that great of a story, and lacked appeal and general interest. This time I'm actually planning the whole story in a step-by-step process, with a few surprises and twists. It's a lot more complex and deep than my previous version of the story, so hopefully it'll turn out as I planned. Alright, I'm done for the night. New Rock Top 10 up for ya. L8ers.
